Did you know that Singapore in the 1900s, housed over 20 Dragon kilns – each measuring at least 20 metres long – for pottery production? One of the last remaining ‘dragons’ still stands but it’s been in slumber.
This year, since it is the year of the dragon, we are going to wake this particular dragon that lies in the jungles of Jalan Bahar, in West Singapore. With the support of the Singapore National Arts Council and friends, we are about to start on this journey!
